Things to do in the Struisbaai & L'Agulhas Region

The region is magically one of a kind. It offers activities for all. Long walks on the sandy beaches, rock and shore angling, fishing charters and sunset cruises are on the bucket list when you are here. Visit the Southernmost tip of Africa, take your picture at the southernmost monument before ascending the steps to the top of the Agulhas Lighthouse from where you have spectacular uninterrupted views. Bring your mountain bike and explore the coastline or take a hike along the various hiking trails in the region.

Do visit the Shipwreck Museum in Bredasdorp and come to understand why this coastline is called the graveyard of ships. Enjoy local wine tasting at the Wine Boutique, or make a day-trip to one of the cellars in the region. Various restaurants ensure that your appetite is taken care of, all conveniently nearby.
